GL events is working with the Celtic Manor Resort to create the perfect backdrop for the Celebrity Cup, where some of the biggest names in sport and showbiz swap paparazzi for putters and battle it out in teams representing Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland.
A 400-seater Grandstand, interview stage, and a Food Court and demonstration area will be built alongside ticketing areas, catering facilities and a first aid station for the star studded showdown.
Celtic Manor will be rolling out the red carpet for another amazing weekend, giving visitors the chance to walk the fairways with some of the UK and Ireland’s favourite stars including Gareth Bale, Vernon Kay, Mike Tindall, Peter Jones, Alan Hansen, Gordon Strachan, Kenny Dalglish, Rob Brydon, Philip Glenister, Gethin Jones, Ronan Keating and Brian McFadden.
Last year, England got revenge over 2013 champions Scotland to lift the trophy but Ireland and Wales will be desperate to reach the final for the first time this summer.
As well as top-notch golfing action and on and off-course banter, there will be Q&A interviews with other sports stars and live music in the tented village. Visitors can also experience the VIP treatment in the Premier Lounge and hospitality, and join the celebs for a glittering gala dinner.
