# CAD Technician

  Castle Donington

 Reporting to the Design Manager, use customised isometric & 2D templates to produce grandstand proposal and construction drawings including plans, elevations, sections & isometric views for various applications within the temporary seating industry. Assist in Maintaining and developing the technical component library.

 

 

 

 ##  Key responsibilities 

 

 

 • Complete new drawing requests & amendments submitted via the task list using AutoCAD software packages

• Produce 2D proposal layouts for client approval

• Produce isometric model layouts for constructing grandstands • Assist in measuring and drawing components for the new component library.

• Liaise with internal Project Managers, Directors and key external customers and suppliers.

 

 

 

 ##  Skills and experience 

 

 

 • Experience using AutoCAD is essential

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

• Fabrication design would be beneficial, but not essential

• Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

• Ability to manage own workloads & work independently
