During this time we’ve consistently delivered high quality [temporary structures](https://www.glevents.co.uk/products/temporary-structures), tiered [seating](https://www.glevents.co.uk/products/tiered-seating), grandstands, and supporting event infrastructure for key race dates, including Royal Ascot. ## A royal event Royal Ascot attracts over 300,000 visitors each year, necessitating a range of facilities such as hospitality, bars and catering areas, ticket offices, bathrooms, and merchandise stalls. Additional seating is also required, allowing each attendee a perfect view of the course. All temporary infrastructure needs to be planned to allow for the complexity of the site and the geography of the racecourse. To maintain our exceptional standards, each year, a dedicated GL events project delivery team remains on site throughout the race season, working closely with the client to ensure the highest levels of style, finish and quality, befitting of Royal Ascot. For 2022, GL events UK designed a blend of [Absolute](https://www.glevents.co.uk/absolute) Apex and [Ultimate](https://www.glevents.co.uk/ultimate-pagoda) structures, embodying elegance and style. Highlights included the impressive 15m x 20m Dorchester Grill and a 6m x 6m Lavender Courtyard hospitality suite. Four Multi-Deck structures were installed, including the 15m x 45m Garick and Whites, 15m x 45m Wyndhams, 12m x 40m Turf and Norfolk, and Holyrood, and 15m x 20m Pavilion Lawn 1768. The total area of the infrastructures spanned across 7,430 square meters. Working to deliver the best possible solution for the client, our team incorporated innovative, custom modifications to accommodate mature trees on site. Two structures, including one multi-deck, were even constructed around embedded trees. Over the years, our seating team have supplied[ temporary grandstands ](https://www.glevents.co.uk/products/tiered-seating)in the Royal Enclosure, in front of the racecourse’s permanent main grandstand and in other areas of the course. Each seating solution is tailored to allow for additional features, such as flagpoles, or space for a temporary cashpoint. Additional [interior fit out](https://www.glevents.co.uk/products/design-fit-out) has also been provided, including power, lighting and air conditioning for the structures in previous years, as well as a vast range of[ ancillary items](https://www.glevents.co.uk/event-fit-outs), including fire alarms, timber cladding, staircases, handrails, picket fencing and decking, ensuring a seamless event experience.
