GL events UK supports event providers with everything from temporary structures, marquees, spectator seating, and complete event infrastructure solutions.  With more than a century of heritage in the UK events industry, we’re at the forefront of the UK temporary structure market.

Our expertise also extends to stadia construction services and, through Aganto and Spaciotempo UK, temporary structures for industrial, retail and sports and leisure markets. So whether you’re in need of simple tents, marquees and pagodas, or bespoke single-deck and multi-deck structures, seating or stadium construction – you’re always in safe hands. And as recently as 2020, the Group acquired Xpect Furniture, to cater to rental furniture requirements for events and exhibitions.

Our UK history

Owen Brown

Before joining the GL events UK group of companies, Owen Brown was a supplier of stylish, state of the art temporary structures for more than 100 years. The company was acquired by GL events in 2002, and has gone from strength to strength thanks to a £30 million investment in its award-winning temporary structure range.  Read more about Owen Brown.

Snowdens Marquees

With an event pedigree dating back to 1820, Peterborough-based Snowdens was a marquee-hire specialist with an enviable reputation for the highest possible standards of customer care and a proud events heritage, making Snowdens the perfect match for GL event.  It was acquired by Owen Brown in 1984 and continued trading as Snowdens until it was fully incorporated into GL events UK in 2014.  Read more about Snowdens Marquees.

Slick Seating Systems

GL events UK’s wealth of experience in seating and stadia solutions is thanks to the expertise of the company previously named Slick Seating Systems.  The company, established in 2000, was acquired by GL events UK in 2010 and fully incorporated into the GL events UK brand in 2014.  Read more about Seating and Stadia.
