The partnership was agreed following a competitive tender by the joint venture of GL events UK and Field & Lawn, an Edinburgh-based tent and marquee specialist.
GL events Field & Lawn will take responsibility for production and installation of infrastructure across the site, including: temporary structures, cabins, sea containers, temporary audience seating, staging, exhibition equipment, fencing, trackway, temporary toilets and washrooms, lighting, flagpoles and furniture.

GL events UK has a proven record as part of GL events Field & Lawn Ltd. The partners have previously delivered event infrastructure as Official Overlay and Temporary Structures Provider for the Commonwealth Games, held in Glasgow in 2014.
The European Championships is a new multi-sport event that will be staged over eleven days in August, and brings together the existing European Championships of six of the world’s top sports, as well as a new European Golf Team Championships. Glasgow and other locations in Scotland will host Aquatics, Cycling, Gymnastics, Golf, Rowing and Triathlon.The European Championships will take place in twelve venues across Scotland from 2 to 12 August 2018.
