GL events Owen Brown, have increased their presence this year at the QBE Autumn Internationals at Twickenham, by erecting a double-deck hospitality structure in the shadow of the stadium’s West Stand.

Offering a total of 600sqm of space and acting as the venue for BMW and brewers Greene King’s on-site match-day hospitality, the temporary structure helped to make up 6,000sqm of official hospitality accommodation that they supplied on five sites at or close to the stadium.
Part of their Absolute Eclipse range, the double deck structure replaced a single tier Absolute structure installed on the same site last year for Greene King.

James Anderson, commercial director at Owen Brown, said: “The addition of a double-deck structure to our Twickenham portfolio this year was a clear indicator of the continued health of the sports hospitality sector.

“The QBE Autumn Internationals at Twickenham have now become a very important fixture in our own calendar because an increasing number of fans want to make their visit to the matches more special by enjoying affordable pre-match luxury. This has fuelled the demand for hospitality space.”

They also supply hospitality structures for the RBS 6 Nations matches at Twickenham and will be back at the stadium when next year’s tournament kicks off in February.

The autumn internationals rounded off a year to remember for GL events, as not only did we supply structures and tiered seating to the Olympic and Paralympic Games as part of the wider GL events consortium, but Owen Brown also provided temporary structures to sporting venues including Epson and Ascot racecourses, as well as events such as Chris Evans’ two Carfest weekends, the V Festival and the Grand Prix at Silverstone.
