GL events to build infrastructure for Three Choirs Festival

The Three Choirs Festival has chosen GL events UK to build a series of seating and staging when the classical music event returns to Worcester in July. The contract, which was awarded to the company following a competitive pitch, will see GL events provide luxury seating for more than 1,000 people, including the choirs and musicians, as well as a staging for the orchestra.

GL events will once again deploy the company’s premium seating, which gives cushioned comfort, increased leg room, and better views for both spectators and performers. The Three Choirs Festival rotates around the Cathedrals of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester, and combines the very best choral sound with a dramatic setting.

“We’ve worked closely with GL events in recent months to carefully plan the new layout. We’re excited about the quality they will bring to the event, and the role they will play in helping us to create the very best audience experience,” commented Alexis Paterson, Chief Executive of the Three Choirs Festival. “A big part of the decision-making process for us was the high standard of GL event’s seating and the amount of leg room offered. I know this will be appreciated by our audiences.”

“This is another brilliant event for us to be involved in and we’re delighted to have been bought in as the event looks to upgrade the experience offered to their spectators,” commented Scott Jameson, Managing Director, GL events UK. “The Three Choirs Festival will make for a truly special occasion.”
