GL events UK has hired a Group Quality Manager to continue the company’s ambition to offer the very finest quality in the industry, throughout every facet of the group’s operations. Steve Collins joins the business in the role, reporting to Managing Director, Scott Jameson, and brings with him experience working for brands including BA Systems, telent, Marconi and Vinci Construction operating in the highly regulated rail, highways, telecom and construction sectors.
As well as having an extensive background as a Project Manager, Steve also has exceptional experience in system assurance and was recently awarded ‘Registered Project Professional’ status by the Association of Project Managers. Steve will work both within GL events UK and in partnership with our partners and supply chain, critical to the success of our business.
A focus on quality has been central to the DNA of the business for some time, and comes from the board of GL events UK. Earlier this year, the company launched a manifesto, demonstrating how the company will ensure the highest standards of quality, across the business, from on-site project management, maintenance, and even the quality of accounting and invoicing procedures.
