For those who couldn’t make it to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, London’s Formula One fans were still able to experience the drama and atmosphere of the British Grand Prix, broadcast live from Silverstone, in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a revolutionary outdoor event.
As the official outdoor broadcaster of Formula One™ (F1), F1 FanZone™ provided live coverage of the weekend’s race on large outdoor screen(s) which visitors were able to watch from grandstand seating provided by GL events Seating and Stadia.
In addition, F1 FanZone™ hosted live entertainment on the Main Stage, F1™ driver autograph sessions, F1 simulators competitions, a pit-stop challenge, karting, a podium “photo finish” experience, various hospitality lounges, retail kiosks and official F1™ merchandise, all housed in temporary structures provided by GL events Owen Brown.
