As the founding ‘Futures Supporter’ of the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA), GL events UK was once again part of the association’s annual convention and awards, that this year followed the theme ‘It Couldn’t Happen to Me’.
The event was the most successful in the association’s 40-year history and featured some expert minds in the areas of issues management, health and safety planning, decision making, and the responsibilities of event organisers to look after the health and safety of both their audiences, and their staff.
GL events UK sponsored two awards on the evening; ‘Production Partnership of the year’ was awarded to We Are Placemaking with Grosvenor Estates and ‘Sporting Event of the Year’, which was awarded to Bournemouth 7s Festivals.
