GL events is helping to bring the hit children’s show Madagascar Live! and top class darts to audiences in the South West by installing thousands of temporary seats at an Exeter venue.
The firm has just built a 2,500-capacity grandstand inside Exeter’s Westpoint Arena, in Clyst St Mary, ready for the arrival of the colourful touring stage adaptation of the popular Dreamworks film on February 21.
The show is set to enjoy a four-day run, after whichGL events will install two further temporary grandstands to increase seating capacity to 3,828, for when the arena hosts the McCoy’s Premier League Darts on February 28.
Featuring the sport’s biggest stars, including current Premier League champion Phil Taylor and current world champion Adrian Lewis, the sell-out event will be televised live on Sky Sports.
This is the fourth year that GL events has provided temporary grandstands to the Westpoint Arena, having installed seating for the venue’s previous spring half term show, the ice skating spectacular Holiday on Ice, since 2010.
