GL events UK is helping with the build at The Belfry Hotel to take families on ‘A Magical Journey’ to see Father Christmas this festive season.
The Warwickshire hotel has created a visitor experience that will see guests take a journey through the woodlands surrounding The Belfry into a snow covered winter wonderland when it opens from 22nd November to 24th December.
This theatrical version of Santa’s Grotto, starts at ‘the Big Top’ marquee featuring an indoor Christmas Market, full of stalls with the best of treats and goodies from local and regional suppliers. It also hosts, Mrs Clause’s Kitchen, Simion Cowelf’s Academy, the Father Christmas’ Museum, and The Magical Cafe just next to where you check-in and exit your ‘Magical Journey’.
It’s then onto the Snowflake Station and all aboard a magical Father Christmas Express Train to journey through the snowy woodland. From Uncle Holly’s Hut you gain access to a Magical and snow covered Enchanted Wizardry Woodland.
This leads to Father Christmas ‘North Pole HQ’ to find the Father Christmas Lodge. The journey will end at the Christmas Tree Glade with live reindeer. The Experience will last 80 to 90 Minutes.
Designer Laurence Llewellyn Bowen said: “I have designed The Magical Journey to inspire that slightly breathless sense of excited anticipation I think all of us can remember from our childhood experiences. It’s a sophisticated yet accessible vision of Christmas storytelling that mingles excitement with enchantment and fairytale with fantasy to ensure a never-forgotten seasonal experience.”
