Temporary structure suppliers GL events Owen Brown enabled thousands of visitors to browse the biggest names in sportswear and equipment when it provides the main exhibitors’ hall at Golf Live, May 2013.
The company won a three year contract to provide temporary structures to what is the world’s biggest interactive golf show, which took place at the Celtic Manor Resort, in Newport, South Wales from May 10 to 12.
Golf Live attracted around 25,000 people over two days, lured by the prospect of meeting pro golfers, taking part in competitions and picking up new tips and skills at master-classes and skills clinics.
This year the event also launched its Celebrity Cup, where teams representing England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and featuring Sir Steve Redgrave, Jodie Kidd, Rob Brydon and Kenny Dalglish, competed for honours, overseen by hosts Ant and Dec.
Owen Brown supplied over 2000sqm of space to the event from its Absolute temporary structure range. Including an Eclipse curved roof structure, which acted as Golf Live’s Tented Village and featured over 100 premium exhibitors showcasing top branded equipment, clothing, holiday destinations and lifestyle products.
