GL events has further strengthened its team ahead of another huge summer. The business will once again be working on some of the biggest event brands in the UK’s social calendar, and has recruited two new project managers to ensure the very best implementation throughout this period and beyond.

Nic Hardy and Emily Carter join GL events’ team of project managers, focused on delivering the industry’s highest standards. Nic joins the business having worked alongside GL events Middle East in Dubai as a temporary event branding specialist. Nic is already making her mark at GL events, with her ten years’ experience in the industry benefitting projects including the Paul Lawrie Match Play tournament, Imperial College London’s graduation event, and The fresh Group’s delivery of Dixons Carphone’s Power of One convention.

Emily is new to GL events’ project management team, having previously worked as a project coordinator within its seating and stadia team. Formerly a freelance project manager in the pharmaceutical and retail sectors, Emily has gained first-hand experience of the company’s massive activation at Jockey Club Racecourses’ Cheltenham Festival, as well as having supported GL events’ operations at Twickenham, Royal Ascot, The Open Championship and Aegon Championships.

“Every year we look to grow and improve our team and we’re delighted to welcome Nic and Emily to the business,” commented Scott Jameson, Managing Director, GL events. “These roles are crucial in developing and growing our relationships with our clients and in continuing our outstanding reputation for delivery.”
